Our story

Launched in 2001, Bang has grown into a powerhouse of creativity and strategy. We take a multi-disciplined approach to strategic communication, bringing a formidable digital skillset and adventurous thinking to our clients’ challenges.

Our in-house team includes designers, developers, writers, producers, client-support crew and account champions. We deliver super-rich experiences that meet our clients’ objectives, whether that’s through traditional or digital media channels.

From the start we’ve worked at the bleeding edge of digital media, design innovation and social engagement in that sweet spot where people find delight in an idea that’s relevant to them. We get a thrill from working with a fascinating range of organisations in Australia and beyond, from not-for-profits to city councils, fitness start-ups and those delivering cutting-edge technology. But it’s our impressive work in the IT sector in particular which led us to join forces with NEXTGEN in 2017.

Our acquisition by an award-winning IT facilitator further expands and deepens our offerings in this area and we’re incredibly excited about creating even more sparkling, impact-driven brand and marketing experiences for the IT channel in Australia and New Zealand.

We don’t think of ourselves as a business-to-business agency, or consumer agency: we are a business-to-people agency. Junior Designer

Working closely with the Creative Lead, you will continue to grow your creative expertise in areas of conceptual campaigns and branding in both the print and digital space. As the Junior Designer your key duties will be to:

Primary tasks & Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Creative Lead to help execute the creative direction of concepts and marketing campaigns across all channels

- Execute briefs from the Creative Lead

- Design and production of printed collateral and mock-ups, eg Direct mails, flyers, brochures and other printed collateral

- Design across all digital assets, eg digital banners, web banners, eDMs, landing pages and other digital executions

- Communicate and present to clients, from conceptualisation to refinement to finish, all the while creating brand-consistent, attractive and meaningful designs that can translate across multiple channels

 

Key competencies:

- Up to date with current trends in branding and digital design

- Good understanding of typography, colour, language and form

- Present creative work, provide opinion in meetings, empathise with client and project needs

- Attention to detail and a focus on quality

- Excellent verbal and written communication

 

Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience with a design degree or similar qualifications in design

- Proficiency with the entire Adobe Creative Suite: Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator

- An outstanding eye for detail. You will have the ability to think creatively and also respond to direction when required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- A passion for Photography, Video and UX/UI will be looked upon favourably.

- The right to work in Australia in a full time capacity.

 

Whilst not required, previous experience in a design role with be highly regarded.

Account Manager

Bang is a leading integrated B2B agency, working with a dynamic range of blue chip clients. We have earned a reputation for great creative, outstanding client service and inspirational leadership.

Bang is currently looking to extend the client service team with an experienced Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit agency with energetic people who really enjoy what they do.

We are looking for a strong client services professional with integrated marketing and/or digital experience and a solid understanding of content and messaging. The projects you will work on range from advertising, demand generation campaigns, branding and website projects and ATL/BTL marketing campaigns across a mix of media. The successful candidate will be managing key accounts as well as a variety of project based work across our client portfolio. They should have at least two years’ experience in a similar role, be able to manage clients autonomously, be proactive in bringing solutions and ideas to clients, be a strong writer and strategic thinker as well as organised, dedicated, determined and reliable when managing projects from brief to completion. We are also looking for someone who considers themselves to be friendly and fun to work with and is willing to get involved with a team-orientated attitude.

Experience working in the across the B2B space and/or IT and the Financial Services sectors are also desirable.
